Scammers in MapleSEA

On 16/09/2008 , one of our guild member maiford was scammed of his items by
a malicious scammer. Please be wary and cautious of your personal information and
please take safety precautions when dealing with either , borrowing of items or game accounts.

Safety Tips :
1. Do not disclose too much of your personal information
2. Try not to borrow equipment to people you do not know well
3. If your friend has to borrow an equipment or wants access to your game account even
when he/she is in their own accounts make sure you get your friend to call you over
the phone to confirm his/her identity and make sure they talk to you and make sure
you recognise their voice. You never know who is really using your friends character.

Example of a scam :

In game account scam
Friend : Hey can i have access to your account?
You : uhh..ok my login id is XXXXX password is XXXXX
-STOP-
Whats wrong here?
You do not know who is in your friends account? For all you know he might
be a hacker in your friends account and his using your friends account to gain access
to even more accounts! It happened before and i believe cases like these are bound to
happen again. Protect yourself from being hacked.

Correct procedure :
Friend : Hey can i have access to your account?
You : uhh..sure but you would have to call my phone , i need to see if its
really you in this account before i hand you my account details.

We already had enough friends and guild mates being scammed/hacked we do not wish
to mourn over more victims do your part as owner of your own account and follow the
safety tips

Pirate on the loose!

Hey all guild members I'm sure you've all noticed the all new 5th class of job that's already released into JMS,KMS and even TMS! Now the kind people of Hidden-Street has already updated information about the Pirate job. Basically the skills description, below are 2 links to each sub-class of the Pirate, Viper (4th job) and Captain (4th job).

Chat Box Issue

Hi guys, do take note to chat only in the respective Chat Box that's posted in the blog. This is to prevent any confusion for the BMC ( Blog Maintainence Crew). For Zakum registration kindly redirect your request to Guild Zak Registration Chat Box and post your in this format followed by your IGN within a bracket. E.g Marcus(maiford) Then post your registration accordingly.

For chats please "mega" in the Crappin' Time Chat Box. Likewise follow the format given above for identification purposes. Spamming of "mega" is not allowed in the chat box. That's all for now. Your suggestions are greatly welcome, be it on improving blogskin or Zakum runs.

Guild Zak (15th August 2008)

Today's Guild zak run was a success but there was an issue appeared today inside of zakum altar. One of the helm was missing and clearly i stated that no one is to loot until I, Maiford name out those getting helm. Next time all members who are attending the Guild Zakum runs please kindly take note that no one is to loot anything until the green light is given. Any members found breaking this rule will be banned from Guild zakum run. The case of the missing 4th helm i'll file it as a Zakum Helm disappear as no one could retrieve it in time. There will not be another incident like this happening again (i hope).

Congrats to Jenny (Haizbored) on helming. Although we started off late, but we managed to down zakum pretty fast thanks to NeverCC and Arrowrain Alp and Kel. Next guild zakum run will be held next friday! :D

To prevent any misunderstanding between members over basic sb, pls refer to this SB List often! :D
Priority of SB will be given to those who are often online/training and those who attend guild zak oftenly. If we leave out anyone whose IGN isn't here, kindly please inform IcyFr0z3 about it. Please also do note that those attending zakum runs do not be late, and also your things will be given according to the list over here. The equipments will be sold to split share. As for the skill books that are looted will be kept in one storage. This is to keep as reserve in case any guild members who are rushing level and require the skill book, we can sell/give it to them. Those whose helm bombed will have to re-queue to be fair to others. Also, those getting helm are ONLY ENTITLED ONE HELM EACH. We're hoping and ensuring future zakum runs will be smooth so as to quickly clear members without the basic skill book and helms. Service chars will be treated as "guest" same thing as Horned Tail's guest list. Guests will only get helm after we have cleared members without zak helm. Members who wanna re-helm are only allowed to re-helm once per month. This is to control the number of members who keep queue-ing for Re-helm; this is to be fair for others. Those interested to join do drop your IGN here or in the BSS. We thank you for your understanding.
